This is kind of weird -- in my main event (New York 4) and NY/Chi mixed auction leagues, Tony Blanco is listed as an OF. However, in the ultimate auction league, Blanco is BOTH an OF and a 1B.

Any reason why this is the case?

Another player like this is Jose Macias:

Main event - OF

NY/Chi auction - OF

Ultimate auction - 3B/OF

It seems that the position eligibility is set up differently for the ultimate auction league than the other leagues. I know that Macias and Blanco are minor players, but a more significant player could emerge with this same problem.

I have forwarded this onto STATS to correct this problem if it exists. The position eligibility is the same for the main event as well as the Ultimate Leagues, so obviously Blanco should only be OF for both. In fact, I just talked with STATS yesterday about Blanco, who played outfield last year in the minors and thus only qualifies there to start this season. We'll correct this immediately, so thanks for bringing this to my attention. Again, the position eligibilities definitely need to be the same.

I still want to take that bet with Meatloaf about LuGo hitting 15 homeruns this year. Think he'd still be up for it?

KofQ..Why not? Did Lugo get hurt today? He came out early. Were you surprised to Nomar, Renteria, and Giles on the same team in the ultimate?

3 top infielders on one team is nice, but pitching is going to need some work. Then again, we all have holes, and need some things to break our way to win.

I like my pitchers, but then again they haven't pitched yet. After one start, it goes from love to hate!!

We all love our teams. I love that I got A-Rod, Ichiro and Dunn on one team -- and still filled out my roster with quality players.

Time will tell. I don't hate my team yet. :D
