So players that were called up this year, played in major league games, got sent back down without being picked up by a team in the NFBC are not available on the free agent list? Is that correct? Thanks.

Yes, if someone played in the majors but was never picked up or drafted in your league and he's now in the minors, he still would not be in your free agent list until he gets called back up to the majors. Once he returns to the majors, he will be available via FAAB.
