Preferred Draft Position?

Greg/Tom what was the preferred draft slot for owners?

My bet would be that the most preferred spot was the #1 pick. Of course, this would have been influenced by the number of teams that either chose not to bother to rank their choices or forgot.

Tom would know this more than me, but I believe No. 1 was still the preferred choice, followed by No. 2. Anyone who attempted to move down seemed to go to No. 7 or No. 8.
