For which leagues?

According to Greg, the satellite leagues have their first FAAB cycle on Sunday March 26. Main event leagues have their first cycle on Sunday April 2.

Bids are processed at 7pm ET on Sundays so they must be made before that time. I would suggest having them in place about 15 minutes early but to each their own. Getting them in first has no bearing on who gets a player.

Hope this helps.

not loaded yet - not bugging me though.

I downloaded the draft and have looked at all the rosters. I even ran hitting projections based on my numbers and picking the best possble lineups for each team. Some lineups seemed a bit shakey.

[/QUOTE]Did the rosters about 2 days after the draft. MDC has a nice draft download feature. I ran the numbers last night while watching the Big Break V. Excel is a wonderful tool.

Hey Viper,

Have tried to place a bid on free agents for Feb 21 $100 league. I can see the free agents but can't place a bid.

Is there a certain time when the action will be open?

Thanks,

KC

Some where I recall reading that we could begin making bids on th Satellite Leagues Today or Tomorrow. I will probably wait until Thursday on my two satellite leagues.

It will take a while but you can probably begin to get a sense of reasonable bids after awhile for your league in particular. No hard and fast rules to go by unfortunately.

This is correct.

What about for the auction leagues? When can you start bidding on free agents?

The auction leagues are the same as the main event leagues. FAAB bidding will begin on Sunday April 2 for all of those leagues.

Tom,

Thanks for all your help at the Tampa draft.

When can I place my $1000.00 bid on Burgos?

I clicked on "place bid" and it just takes me to a player rating screen???

Thanks,

Glad I could be of help.

And FAAB bidding does not begin until Sunday April 2. So you'll have to wait just a little bit longer.

The Marlins say R Abercrombie is ON their 40 man roster, but NFBC says no - so he is NOT eligible for FAAB- What gives!??!!

Tom, dunno if I'm following this correctly. Will we be able to bid on/by Sunday April 2nd and be able to use those players the following day (April 3rd) for the first week of play? Thanks.

Nope, I spoke incorrectly. The bidding opens next week and ends on April 2. The players will then be eligible on April 3. Sorry for any confusion.

It's my understanding that FAAB will run at 7:00 PM Sunday April 2nd on bids placed prior to that. Players won in that FAAB Auction will be avaiable the following day April 3rd.

After FAAB runs that evening, April 2nd, you can enter bids for the April 9th FABB Auction at 7:00 PM and those players will be avaiable the following day, April 10th.

AND... so it will contiune every week the rest of the season.

I cannot seem to place a bid. I get the player rankings when I click on the place bid link. Am I alone?

We want to make sure we have all of the rosters entered correctly before opening free agency to the main event teams. You will be able to bid on players starting on Monday afternoon and then have all of next week to finalize your bids. The first FAAB deadline is Sunday, April 2nd.
