Greg, everyone is getting a script error
tonight. There were a few postings in another thread but to make sure you see this issue.
I have seen several times this same problem. The browser (IE or Mozilla) locks up for a bit, then comes back with a 'script on this page is causing your system to lock up do you want to about it?'
Frustration in that this error has happend so many times

Second day it's happened to me but only in the main event league. I have another league and it is just fine on live stats page.
Hope they figure it out soon.

I dont complain a lot but I have to say that the stats live scoring is a terrible system. Greg I wish you would look at other systems for the future. A example of one that I think is the best is CBS sportsline. It gives you up to the minute standings as every hitter hits and every pitcher pitches.I am sure that there are others too. Stats is very frustrating to say the least. I would like to see if anyone else agrees.

Stan, the funny part is I think STATS provides the support for them. I looked closely as their site and it looks very similar...

Stan I trust that some guys are having problems with the live scoring, but I contacted STATS about last night and they said they did not have any technical problems. I'd like to know if other NFBC members struggled with the live scoring last night and to keep me informed about this. I don't want to say that it might be your individual computers, but sometimes that is the case with live scoring.
We'll continue to keep an eye on the live scoring and I've asked them to watch the live pitching data again. As for live standings, we've already said we will look into that for 2007 and if it makes sense we'll do it. But I can just hear the complaints about that and how everyone's team was in second place at 10:48 when it should have been in first!

Greg, as a former technology consultant, I am extremely positive that this wasn't our machines. No changes had occurred to my system - in fact, my home machine is basically ONLY used for baseball there isn't even a chance a worm from a strange site caused an issue.
Something about the java script of obiously an issue. They should dive into this as I have seen this happen 5-6 times throughout the year.

greg - i've noticed the live scoring has not been up-to-date throughout the season. last week was the last time i checked live scoring and one of my pitchers didn't show up.
i wish stats could stop pettitte's stats from counting against my team.

It happens to me a lot, especially with srating pitching. For some reason they wouldnt give me dan haren 's start, it can be frustrating when you dont get all your starts. Always my pitching.

Greg:
I know it is not my computer, either, as I use two different computers (on the same network, but with different OS) at work, and one computer at home. Yesterday, all three locked up and/or got script errors.
This is, once again, a STATS problem, and is certainly not a computer problem (on the same date) by the various owners.
Perhaps STATS response "they don't have any technical problems" speaks volumes about their staff and/or their inability.
It is unfortunate that you have a truly first class competition saddled with an awful statistical provider.

I guess it is fixed. I just checked my teams
Greg, everyone is getting a script error
This is what happens - it shows up for a day or so, then the script magically fixes. Perhaps it is a certain condition during live scoring that occurs. More likely, someone is playing with the asp page or what ever and screwing it up slightly

Is anyone even looking into the problem with SP live scoring????????

Quite often (but not always), when you click on live scoring, one or more of your active pitcher(s) stats will not appear. If you leave the page up, or keep hitting refresh, this problem will sometimes (again, but not always) go away.
Don't remember this being a problem in 2004 or 2005...

The live scoring issue for pitchers happens nearly every day. No matter what computer it still happens!

It happens to me daily, clicking refresh solves it for awhile. I have run multiple IE sessions and it works on some and not others. A very intermittent issue but none the less there most every day.
