Question - I have Juan Cruz in my active lineup for his start this week. He is currently listed on the DL but will come off before his start. Now that rosters are locked for the first part of the week does the system allow me to switch him out to the bench with a new pitcher for the 7/7 to 7/9 period?
I'm not going to do this (though I wouldn't mind since his second start comes in COL later this week) but if it is possible I'd say it is a loophole in the DL rule that would need to be closed.

You can take him out of your starting lineup this week as long as he remains officially on the DL. If he comes off the DL on Thursday and you still have him in your starting lineup, obviously he would remain there. The system does not automatically put him back in your lineup if he comes off the DL before Friday and you already had tried to put him on your reserve roster.
