How do we go about bidding on a Free Agent who is not on the sortable lists??
(Yep...I punted a category so badly that I need to reach for a AAA call-up)

Anyone not yet on a major league roster can not be picked up via free agency until the team puts him on their active roster with major league baseball. Callups usually take a day or two before the paperwork goes through and stats downloads the files. If your player was called up you should see him available by Sunday (waiver day).
Good luck - Pete

Yup, what Pete said. Once the draft is complete, only MLB players are available via FAAB. When players are called up from the minors, they can be bid on when they are officially on an MLB roster.
A player who was already drafted in the NFBC and then sent down to the minors will remain in your league's FAAB pool even while in the minors. Our feeling is that if he was good enough to be drafted and owned by one team, he's good enough to be picked up by another team. There's no reason to punish the 14 other teams for one owner giving up on a prospect who was available to everyone on draft day.
