Waivers Closed Early
What is the deal with waivers closing five minutes early? I was about to submit a bid for Jonah Bayless. I am not a happy camper.

I'll contact STATS to find out about this. It may have been something simple like your clock was set 5 minutes too slow or something along those lines but I'll contact them and let you know what they say in response.

Here's the response from STATS: "We checked the time on the servers and it's correct. We have the current time posted on the free agent page specifically because we had users claim this in the past, so they can see exactly what time the server is bringing back while they are submitting bids."

So Stats says everything is correct and at least 5 customers dispute it? What to do next? Not a lot can be done about it now- but a generic response that Stats says everything is on the up and up only fans the flame it does nothing to resolve the issue.

[/QUOTE]Chest, nobody is disputing that the two customers on here had problems on Sunday. What we asked STATS to check was the timing on their server as we did have an issue with the correct time last year as STATS' clock was a little faster for some reason and it closed the free agents early last year. We felt the same problem may have occurred this year, and according to STATS, that was not a problem this time. We're not saying there wasn't an issue, just that the same problem didn't occur this year. They did not report any technical problems at that time either, so we'll watch this very closely this Sunday to make sure everything is correct.
Nobody is passing the blame, it's just that we can say that our clocks were synched this week just like they were in weeks past and the site didn't go down. But somewhere there was a glitch according to these two owners and we'll keep looking for it and hope it doesn't happen again. That's what was said here.

I checked out my FAAB's at 5 minutes till and noticed that we were already locked out. One constant about STATS is that they never say," Yeah, we dropped the ball on that one". Interesting that a service industry company would have a customer is never right attitude.
On my tombstone-
Wait! I never had the perfect draft!

What they are telling us is that the deadline was set the exact same time as every previous week and their clock is matched up correctly with the right time. Hell, maybe someone manually did something wrong. I'll find out and make sure it doesn't happen again.
I was in Las Vegas on Sunday running a $5,000 per entry NFFC Ultimate League. By NFBC deadline, I was working on Corona's and lovin' it.
I wasn't the culprit, but I'll get out my Clue board and find out who was.

Here's just a little piece of free advice for everyone:
Maybe don't decide on your bids at like one minute till. Huh, whattaya think?

Chance favors the prepared mind.
