With the last game today starting at 1:40 and a few hundred people anxiously awaiting their results, does STATS really need to wait until the middle of the night to update the standings?

Brian- considering my last 100 posts contain some kind of smart ass reference- I want to clarify this one does not. In the small chance you have not found out I want there is an active stats feature that will help you calculate the exact points in the cumulative categories.
You probably already know that but in the rare chance you did not and cannot find it email me and I will walk you through it so you can know how you did by tonight.

Chest - Can you post the "way to se active standings" here fo us? I know I can go through all the math, team by team, but you seem to be indicating there is an easier way. Thanks.

One of the major concerns with STATS has been the lack of live standings. No one has ever indicated that there is a way to view them and I e-mailed Chest and got no reply. Seems like a hoax.
I can't believe other people didn't have the same concern I originally posted here, though. Seems like the NFBC could have at least tried to put a call in to STATS to see if a rush could be put on this. I guess everyone is just fine with waiting until Monday so who am I to argue.

Stats batches there stats at the same time each Sunday night no matter how much I complain (for UFS, and Greg and I both get them at same time).
They would never dream of getting them out as early as possible unless they were paid 3-4x their normal rate.
Thankfully, I hear competition is on the way.

Sorry guys I actually paid attention to my wife last night and missed 2 requests for this.
For future reference Go to team stats- and go fantasy ytd. It will give you everything you need to calculate by hand the cumulative type stats. Last year I did it on the last day and it was 100% accurate.

Pete [/QUOTE]Thanks Chest. I didn't realize the YTD was updated on the fly. I appreciate the info and know it will come in handy next year. That said, CBS Sportsline shows this information on their "live scoring" page. Maybe that technology will be here next year too. If not, I'll use your tip.
Thanks again - Pete
