1) you are not getting Hafner there in a real league
2) Where is your speed- you have to move speed up the board in this contest to get it.
3) And overall a pretty good job for your first 15 teamer ever.

Nice work! I especially like your offense and I think you put together a nice (and speedy) outfield for where you took them. The team has an upside of maybe 100 steals, but you do need more than that, and the complaint is a minor one considering the overall quality of offense. I don't know that Hafner never goes there and you can find a player of similar value that actually plays a position even if he's gone.
I am not a big fan of some of these pitchers, but it's not like your pitching suffered because you went all offense. My biggest criticism is that with only one closer and six starters you cannot play two non-closer relievers every day. You will need to find someone else for your active lineup or you will bleed value out of the front and back of your staff. Now the plan may be to play someone else every day that you would get in a later round and that could work, but that is not evident from what is posted here. That decision cold make an impact--I have no idea if you're planning to march Jose Lima out there.

I need a lot of work on draft prep.
In the mocks I've seen several guys punting entire categories. I'm asssuming this is a poor strategy as it relates to the NFBC, right?

if you don't make a pick at the NFBC main event within a minute, they just pass over you, until the next owner selects a player. if you can handle mockdraftcentral, the main event draft will be a breeze

Debatable for sure, but most agree that you can't punt a cat and win the overall unless you plan on rebuilding it with faab. I'd think if you're here, you want to win it all.
BTW, Gekko is right. The main event is much slower. For one thing people take more time on their picks, especially the computer geeks like me. Then the draft administrators have to find the sticker, put it on the board, and walk up to the next guy at which point the clock starts, not to mention the 10 minute breaks.

I know the OF is a joke but it was my first 15 team mock so go easy on me! Nobody faint, but I have nothing to add to the excellent analysis already provided. I just want to say do not be too hard on yourself. We all end up filling holes in the FAAB. If first tries are any indication, you are going to be a player.

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.
