Bars near or in Javitz center...

I plan on being in NYC early on Friday before I do my 4PM mixed league auction at the Javitz center. Are the college basketball games on inside the Javitz center to watch? (or is there a bar close by to go watch the games in?)

There is a little food thing in the javitz center but rreally, we are in the abyss of Manhatten there. There is literally nothing around for several blocks, which is hard to do in NYC. I hate the area
