Time line clarification

Post by Atlas » Wed Mar 14, 2007 3:43 am

A little clarification of the free agent time periods, if you please.

Since the first game is Sunday, April 1st, does that mean that the first bidding period ends the Sunday BEFORE (March 25th)??...essentially just for that first game??

Then the second period (for the first full week of games starting Monday-4/2) ends the evening of April 1st?

Thanks

There is only one game on Sunday, April 1 - the Cardinals and Mets. Only players drafted and already on your roster could be in your lineup for that game.

Sunday, April 1 is the first FAAB processing and players acquired in those transactions would be on your roster effective Monday, April 2 for the games in that period.

That Sunday game is considered Week 0 in our files and there isn't a weekly prize for that game. But all stats count from that game for any players you had in your starting lineup. The first FAAB is run on Sunday night April 1st and as Perry said those players can be put in your lineup starting Monday, April 2.
