I hate to bring this up, but I couldn't find any thing in the rules about when players will be pulled from the free agent pool?
(See Is anyone looking at drops?)
Any ways, I was in a satellite draft last night that I'm pretty sure some decent players may get dropped in the next few weeks and wondered how this would be handled?...
I'd like to plan a strategy as it appears obvious to me they will need to drop some decent middle round players or risk falling behind.

I'd like to plan a strategy as it appears obvious to me they will need to drop some decent middle round players or risk falling behind. I don't understand your question Dan, but obviously a player could be pulled from any league's free agent pool at any time. If you dropped Johan Santana tomorrow, I would pull him out of your league's free agent pool before next week's FAAB. If someone accidentally drafted Jim Thome and David Ortiz in the main event and felt they needed to cut Thome, we obviously would pull him no matter what week it was.
The goal of this rule is to make each league in the main event equal so that one team owner doesn't get an unfair advantage over other leagues because of one owner's "mistake" or bad cut, if you will. I'm a little more liberal in the private satellite leagues and auction leagues, but we'll watch those cuts as well. But for the main event, we'll pull out any free agent that we feel unlevels the playing field for the $100,000 grand prize.
Again, you can pick up and cut anyone you want, but it's our judgement if we then want to take that player out of the free agent pool for the duration of the season, thus keeping the overall competition fair for everyone. We understand that some owners don't need certain categories at the end of the year and thus want to cut top players, which is why we then take those players out of the free agent pool. But there's certainly nothing against us taking them out in Week 1 as well as Week 24.
Hope this helps.

That's exactly what I wanted so some of the new guys will see how the rule works. I didn't feel the Mussina drop was a problem in LV 6 last year, but I know some guys did...
Any ways, I was curious if this rule was the same between the Main and Satellites? You answered the question perfectly...
Thanks
