for next year, that the Friday "replace a player on the DL", just turns into another "submit lineup" period?

Although I am totally new to this, I was talking to another NFBCer about it, and I was curious as to what others thought about having TWO lineup submissions each week (Monday and Friday).

For example, I have Dan Wheeler on my team, and of course the news he was OFFICIALLY the closer came out AFTER the Monday deadline. However, with a Friday submitting period, I could have put him in to get his one save (which I desperately need).

This is just a thought, and I was curious at to what others opinions were?

This is just a thought, and I was curious at to what others opinions were? I think your example raises why one is better, some owners saw it coming and took the risk and gained an advantage on you as they should. If Lidge stayed and you got it right you would have had the same advantage. As a new guy I think you will be shocked (I know I was) how many of these leagues will go down to the last day- even more how many will go down to the late games on the last day. Anything that can provide a little separation is a good thing.

Not to mention, teams would reserve starters who already pitched and won't again that week for relievers.

Good points!

Never really thought about Chest's point, but I did realize people could manipulate the starters pitching twice a week. However, if someone had ANOTHER opportunity for a win (by a a starter), I imagine many people would KEEP them in the lineup.

Just a thought that I discussed with someone else.
