Rick Ankiel - Eligibility

Greg - I drafted Rick Ankiel in the draft champions league, hoping he'd provide some power to a questionable and injured OF...my question, does he qualify as OF if he gets called up or does he have to wait until he plays 10 games in OF?

Thank you - just trying to avoid possible onslaught of questions later...in stats, he is listed as UTIL and pitcher...
