Why cant I pickup ellsbury??

He played in the majors this week. He had a pickup button earlier this week but now it is gone!!! ????

He was sent back down. You missed your chance last week. If no one picks him up while he is on major league team, he is removed when he is sent down. He can't possibly help you unless it a bench player for an AL only league.

He's in the minors and thus uneligible to be picked up this week. He will be available via free agency once he returns to the Red Sox' MLB roster. Good luck.
