But within walking distance of the convention center is the Chicago Hyatt, Doubletree, Embassy Suites and Holiday Inn. All are solid hotels and within a five-minute cab ride from O'Hare. You can just walk across the street the next morning.

Thanks Vander, I did NFFC there the last 2 years, but did baseball in Tampa the last 2 it was there, can't beat free room and board. How close is a poker room at one of the casino's in the Chicago area

Not sure, but probably not close. Elgin or Joliet I guess not really close to the draft. They were going to put one on the pond at Arlinton park, but I don't think they ever did. Surprising since Duchesoies has lots of clout.

Any input on the Hollywood Casino in Aurora, it shows that it has a poker room and is about 45 minutes from the convention center, any others with poker rooms that anyone is aware of

i have stayed there the last three years. They have a great steak house (Gibsons) inside. nice rooms for a decent price. You can walk across the walk way right into the convention center.

He was in Tampa last year for baseball and ran Chicago for football last year. I'll give him plenty of drink tickets to hand out!! :D
