Greg,

If Micah Owings pinch hits or plays ten games in the field, would he qualify for UT? He might be worth starting in a double start week in a NL only auction.

The pride of the Hopewell Youth Baseball Association in Milton, GA - Is definitely going to be used as a pinch hitter and may get a chance to DH during interleague play. Whats the thought here.

True. But he is the only Major Leaguer from the youth association where my son plays - so I sentimentally root for him.

You could put him in at UT at any point once he plays the field, but then he'd just earn you hitting points for that week, not pitching points. With Owings, you need to decide what position to start him at and if he is a pitcher, then he gets no hitting stats for that week. If he's a hitter, then he gets no pitching stats. Easy enough.
