Greg
Will the midseason drafts be available for all to see? I'm really curious as to how those play out in anticipation of possibly participating next year...especially the Don Mathis league
Thanks

This draft was quite interesting. No one has ADPs to go by, so planning is really on a round-by-round basis.
Seemed like some people drafted according to their preseason projections, assuming reversion to the mean, others drafted based on momentum (annualizing first half numbers), while others balanced the two. Made for an interesting draft. I have no idea if my team will be great or horrible. I think two weeks in we'll have a reasonable feel for it as some players come to life after the break while others seem to lose their feel.

KJ
Thank you.
I was really interested to see how players were valued, as you pointed out.
Does ARod go #1?
Who were the first couple of pitchers taken?
Did anyone gamble on injured players, and if so, how high? Matsui is being rumored possibly out for the season. Wang until Sept., etc, etc

Kinsler who had a huge 1st half was a big mover; he went 9th, just in front of my pick (D Wright).
Hideki went 12th rd, risky there.
Pitchers were wild, all over the place.
Johan and Peavy early 2nd.
Webb, Hamels, Zambrano 3rd.
CC, Beckett, Haren, Lincecum, Volquez 4th.
Halladay (the 1st half leader wend in he 5th).
Cliff Lee lasted til middle 7th.
Duchscherer lasted til the 8th (couldn't believe he was there for me).

As for injured pitchers, Carmona went in the 14th. I got Wainwright in the 19th. McGowan 21st.
Others of note:
Liriano in the 13th.
Volstad 18th.
Scherzer 25th.
With no ADPs to work from, I won't be surprised if tonight's draft is extremely different from last night's. Like I said, gotta take your strategy one round at a time.

KJ look's like an avg team.Power looks to be a little low and two closers who have the job because of injury although they might pan out.Mclouth in the 4th , Quentin in the 5th ,and Murphy in the 6th seem to me that they would be better picks for the Don Mathis league , i cant see any of them having a better 2nd half , you can put Huff in their too.
Agree that Duchscherer in the 8th rd pick 6 was a steal. But your man crush on Tulowitzki has become legendary . Cant you just let it go , he destroyed your season and you get new life and their he is again in the 11th round and on your bench.
Just a quick look and some opinions.

I wouldnt expect McLouth/Quentin to match their H1, if they did they would have 2nd rd value. At 4/5 I just need them to not fall off a cliff, could go either way but I think they'll be ok. (Murphy was 13th rd, not 6th).
I didn't want Tulo, but his upside in rd 11 looked like a decent bet which I thought I could cover with Aviles at a much later pick if he didnt pan out. Closers are def.a weak spot, wanted a third and just missed a few times so I got shutout from what I wanted, I'll need to find a replacement there.
