Sept DL Moves

I recall last year (I think) that there was a list on Fridays of players we can DL even if their team does not make a DL move. I believe it may have something to do with major league teams not using the DL this late in the season when they can expand rosters. Will we have that again this year?

Asked by a Brandon Philips owner who just read he might miss the rest of the season with a broken finger...

Pete - that rule was done away with. Too hard to enforce consistently.

Thanks GG. Yes, is sucks losing a first round pick. Truth be told, he has not done much the past month or so anyway. My replacement options are weak, but at least I have some options. I just hate having to wait till Monday to make a move.
