Though its highly unlikely the players taken in round 45 will do much in the way of deciding any contests, it is only fair there be an even number of rounds. It makes it more fair for the owners in the 8-15 slots. Therefore, I propose adding a 46th round to these drafts. That way I can take a 9th catcher.

COOPS! He lives!
Saw your name show up on the sign up board. Welcome back, buddy! How was your cold, hard winter in Houston!

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

I do live. Thought about you when that Houston company you saw went Chapter 11. Good thing you didn't take the bait.
Last year was a baseball waste. A well planned draft that didn't draft according to plan, coupled with a lot of business travel. Here's hoping a better year awaits.
I see you're going to Vegas this year. Hmmmm, afraid of Chicago, where all the real competition is.

Maybe we need to add 5 rounds to any slow draft that is done before March 1st. There are so many question marks that it would be nice to add a couple of more names just in case.

Maybe it should be cut back to 35 rounds. Just to see the bloodbath of a season that will ensue.

Just make sure it's an even number of rounds, but I like the extra. It's a delicate balance between prospects and bench players. Too many prospects could blow your season. Love the strategy in these formats, which are really Draft Champion type leagues.

I am currently in a slow draft. What is the process for selecting unlisted players? Thanks for any input.

Anyway, sorry about last year and you are damn right! The last time I was in Chicago you guys TAGGED me!
Naah...really it has just been a long time since I sat down at a card table and I decided to see if I still had the "majic"!
Anyway, don't be a stranger and good luck!
