1st week faab period ?

I see another earlier post about this but it didn't go into details. It was asked yesterday during our draft if & when there was the first faab drafting period like before season starts or so on. I'm sure their are some veterans that can explain exactly how & when the dates are for the first faab period and this will help a number of new players here this year and maybe save another post concerning this issue.
