The prize pool will include 2 free nights in Vegas and a rebate offer of half your money back for every owner. If there's anything left over, which I doubt, the league winner would be notified within 6 months and could receive up to the FULL amount of his/her entry fee in prize money (less the value of the hotel and rebate, of course).

Clark, the number one pick is yours. If anyone else wants in just shoot me an email and I will assign you a slot based on your degree of outrage. I'm reserving #2 for Walla, but the rest are wide open.

It's the next stop on the train past Citi Field and they have rooms for $129 on the weekend. You can get off the subway there and walk one block to the hotel and of course the subway takes you all the way to Times Square if you want to have fun in Manhattan.

I don't have the info with me, but I know they still have rooms available for our weekend. Check that one out if you can.

[/QUOTE]For those who are flying into New York or taking the bus/train, this is a pretty good choice. However, if you are driving to the draft, I would recommend one of the properties closer to LaGuardia (I have already posted these). Parking is going to be easier, and you'll probably save a few bucks.

The one big drawback to the Sheraton East is that you're in the middle of Flushing, Queens -- essentially Chinatown. Most people will find the eating options in the surrounding area to be extremely limited. Then again, it might be a cultural experience for many NFBCers!

Hey Glenn

Did not see your Hotel list near Citi field. I booked a room at the Holiday Inn at LaGuardia which seems to be walkable to Citi and has a bar. Is this one of those that you had listed?

Thanks

Marty I believe the Holiday Inn was on my list. The properties along Ditmars Blvd are all pretty similar. You can drive to CitiField and be there in less than 5 minutes.

Sorry we won't get to see each other, Marty. Catch you in New York for football.

Ditto Glenn

Good luck in Vegas. When you go try to introduce, talk, or find 2 really great guys. Wayne Edwards and Dave Clum.

See you for football.

Marty
