Liberty Media has announced that Fanball will no longer run games going forward and the company is being shut down. The NFBC and NFFC were purchased by Fanball in August of 2009 and thus we are part of this process. However, there is hope that new ownership of the NFBC can be in place in time to keep the contest alive and well for 2011. Stay tuned and hopefully a resolution can be announced shortly so that all of you can finalize your travel plans and feel confident in the plan ahead.

Greg,
Is there really a chance that NFBC is going to survive after FanBall's announcement? Are there active negotions going on that appear reasonable for NFBC to survive?

The NFBC is definitely going to survive. The event is a go for 2011 and beyond. You can register now to secure a spot at nfbc.fanball.com. We'll hopefully have more details to announce soon but the NFBC is definitely alive and well for 2011.
