I mentioned these four players in another thread as players who are about to take it to the next level. I don't want anyone to miss out on this tip, so here's a thread for them.

G.Sizemore, J.Cantu, F.Hernandez, R.Howard

IF YOU WANT THEM ON YOUR NFBC TEAM, YOU MUST DRAFT THEM EARLY AND OFTEN. THEY WILL NOT LAST LONG!!!

G.Sizemore 30hr/30sb ---> 2nd rounder

J.Cantu 30hr/125rbi ---> late 3rd/early 4th rounder

F.Hernandez 20wins/200K/2.80era/1.00whip ---> late 1st/early 2nd rounder

R.Howard 40hr/125rbi ---> late 2nd/early 3rd rounder

Starting new threads won't protect you from what you don't want people to see (like the last meant to hide the fact that you took your name from Wall Street). You're not going to change the flow of the draft no matter how much you tell people Hernandez is a second rounder. Sorry.
Chance favors the prepared mind.

btw, i'm not trying to change the "flow of the draft". maybe you are? thanks.

If Felix is drafted in the 2nd round in ANY draft, I will never play fantasy baseball again. I think you are at least 1-3 rounds to early on most of these.

Sizemore..maybe 3rd

Cantu...4th, maybe 5th

Hernandez....at least the 5th

Howard...probably 4th, 5th, and very possibly the 6th in some.

If any of your predictions come true, then I will admit daily you are the best fantasy player ever. Of course some morons might buy into your "hype" of these players and draft them WAY to early. We shall see in a month.

Can't wait for your "sleeper" list in football too!

BTW, were you saying I lack intelligence on the other boards? :confused:

GLU,

Where do sleepers like Shelton, E.Encarnacion, BJ UJpton and Matt Cain go?

And since I am "all knowing"

I would say......

Shelton 12th-14th

Encarnacion 15th-17th

Upton 18th-21st

Cain 11th-13th

Shelton might go higher in some leagues.

Encarnacion easily go lower. Some may think his start was a fluke. Plus, horrible BA for sure.

Upton, it is hard to tell with owners. Heck he might have a hard time playing for the D-rays this year. I don't see how they can keep his "bat" from playing, but that footwork in the field is a BIG liability. I don't see what they have to lose, besides a ton games as usual :(

Same with Cain, I am sure in some leagues he will go as late as the 14th/15th. And in others he might go in the first 10 rounds. You never know with the way people decide to draft.

Of all of these players, Cain is definitely the one I am targeting in my drafts for sure. Love those young guys in all sports, never been a fan of the old, crusty, injury-prone, veterans!

So how did I do?

Will find out in a month.

And for my GG response ;)

Shelton...7th/8th rd....Potential top 10 player!

Encarnacion 9th/10th rd.....Bargain 3rd baser

Upton 12th rd......Will be a steal after this

Cain 6th/8th rd.....Better draft him this early if you want him for sure!

You know I love you Gekko!

because he's gonna put up 1st rounder type numbers this year.
I wouldn't give a nickel (or a 6th round pick) for his health.
pretty obvious you don't know the value of a 60 SB player in NFBC, especially if you draft late. I would rather have had Figgins (better positions), but he was gone. Some people may think you don't know NFBC strategy by your amount of NFBC winnings. I'm not one of them.

NFFC you are the man.

Which web site are you going to blame this year for your Thome/Foulke "type" picks this year?

Who are your Thome/Foulke/Washburn "expletive post" picks for 2006? MB readers will want to steer clear of them. TIA.
UFS, unless I am reading this wrong....can we really draft players for stolen bases in Football? I tend to draft a Defense and Kicker late, but this stolen base thing might catch on!

BTW, I know what you are talking about, just had to kid on you a lil. I would say be prepared for a lot more of this when the 3 city challenge starts. That is if you are still playing.
