Wright or Utley
Much to my surprise I was out voted by a huge margin in the marlins pressbox. While I think Chase Utley is a very good player,I think if I had to choose one between the two players.Overall as a player and career wise I would take David Wright over Chase Utley.I can not believe that I am the lone voice in this debate.Well, let me hear what y'all think.

Wright or Utley
Utley and Wright.Man!! You can't go wrong with either. In NY #1, I targeted Wright for my 1st pick this year but lost out when he was taken 10th with me picking 11th.I went for Michael Young hoping for Utley on the comeback round.
Chase went 15th (last pick in first round with that owner taking Jose Reyes with the 1st pick of the 2nd round) and I took Rollins with my 2nd, 20th overall. Utley's top ten next year.
As far as "value" goes in the real world and especially in Fantasy terms Utley would get the nod from me because he's a middle infielder. There's a good number of third sackers who can produce stellar numbers (Wright would be at the top of that list) BUT 2nd baseman with the tools Utley posseses are rare. Why do you think Soriano wants to play 2nd? Ans. He's worth more there then in the outfield because outfielders are plentiful.
Both great players, both first rounders, I take Utley if both were avaiable.

Wright or Utley
If I were building a real MLB team, I would love to have that problem. Given the respective ages (Wright 23 and Utley 27), I would have to lean towards Wright who is still a couple of years from the generally recognized "prime".
From a fantasy perspective, if I can get 1st rounder production out of a thin position like 2B, I would go for Utley.

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.
