by Sam Walker is quite a good book. Anyone else read it? If not, you should.

At times it's "LOL" funny. I counted about 20 such passages. One I remember was the author describing part of a draft where someone took Kim Seaman and John Urrea, and referred to them as his urological bullpen. Classic!

Also, learning a little personal stuff about some of the folks we all know from the fantasy websites and publications was very interesting.

But the best is just being allowed to join the author through his journey of being rookie in the Tout War Draft. And following him all season as tweaks his team. Great stuff.

I could go on, but I have a feeling a lot of you have already read it.

I was the auctioneer for that draft. The best moment was the Sidney Ponson "crickets" bid; you should have seen Sam's eyes as I was counting it down...

Brian Brian, that had to be a great draft to be at.

How many times have we all blurted out a dollar figure on someone we really didn't want, thinking, then hoping, someone bids higher.

But being a nube like Sam and trying to impress. It had to be hard not to laugh out loud. At the very least, your cadence probably slowed a bit.

But how could that have been better than the "fake" camerawoman?
