Since I am probably the only NFBC player to admit to buying and reading the Sportin News Fantasy BB Mag, you all probably missed this. Anyway in their Mock Draft, they had Chris Bahr pick F-Rod at #16th. I am sorry, but that is just wrong. I don't know who annoints these guys as 'Industry Experts' but Chris Bahr should turn in his credentials

Worst Pick in a Magazine Draft?
I get the sporting mag every year, its one of the better fantasy read. For there mock draft , no worse than all the others. If these guys dont put up real money , you will always get a strange pick or two.Hell in the KP expert draft , Joe Mauer went 14th , which pick is worse. They should be 3rd and 4th round picks and thats in a 15 man draft, not 12.I also sAW David Wright pick 22, that wont happen in the NFBC.
A couple other picks i find a little strange,Matt Holiday pick 37 and Bobby Abreu pick 43. These guys will both be gone in the 2nd round in THE NFBC.

Spy Yours and eddie's posts are exactly what I was talking about on the other thread. Who wants advice from guys that pick Mauer #14 or Krod #16. Just ridiculous.

Sorry for the gratuitous plug, but it's thoughts like these that stimulated this essay I recently wrote for the forum -- it is longer than your average post but it tackles your point.

Agreed, but atleast with Mauer you could convince yourself is his power developes to 20+ and he maintains his speed, avg, etc.. plus being a catcher, I could rationalize that pick eaiser than a closer!
As for Vander, I personally think it is important to get all perspectives and since I don't have 50 hours a week to research players on my own, I need to get multiple perspectives at once. Don't mean I use them, but I read them

Whither an Expert Todd, since you are in 'the expert scene' please tell Chris that he is embarrassing himself
Also, keep up the posts, I enjoy reading them
