TQ Stats issues

Post by Cooperstown » Mon Mar 19, 2007 10:42 am

I'm in a couple of local leagues and we've used TQ Stat's for years w/o any problems. There is a rumor going around that they've changed their commissioner service format and there are problems.

If anyone has any information on TQ Stat's new format and if it's worth staying with them this year, I'd appreciate it.

Also, what other commissioner services do people use and like.

thanks

Coop

I just logged in and it's completely different. They lost a dozen of the features they used to have. Hopefully they are bugs and will be added back but if not it is going to be a problem. You may want to look elsewhere if you still can. It's probably too late for us

Our local league got fed up with TQ and moved to CBS sportsline.

A lot of the features are now back in, but the printable reports are gone for good. We're stuck with them this season (our 8th) and may be looking elsewhere next year.

one "feature" they dropped and said they wouldn't put back in is giving the option to switch your last player bewteen utility hitter and pitcher. since our "home" league has that rule, they can't support us now.

What's annoying is they used to have this basic option and for some reason dropped it?!?!?! All you need to do is have a min and max at each position instead of one hard required number...

this is insane...

The LABR leagues have been here for years.

It took me 30 minutes to find the very well hidden FA list. Greg can't even log in.

Just another example of someone coming into the industry trying to make a buck w/o a clue as to what they are doing.

I put in another call to TQStats to inquire about getting a refund (leagues have until May to do so) and found out that the printable report feature should be back in by opening day. The guy I spoke to was very helpful and it seems like they're trying to handle everyones requests. He also said the "toys" section from the old format will be back, just not by opening day. Stay tuned.

I hope they get the FAAB feature fixed ASAP. I'm in two leagues using them and I don't want to change sites but I guess I will if they can't support the features that they got rid of two weeks ago....

UFS - Where did you find the FA list?

I have been looking at all player list including drafted and free agents. It is awful easy to miss something in this fashion.

TQ Update - Last period no offensive stats for the weekend. Amazed on how poorly they are making this transaction.

BTW, free agents can be found on the PLAYERS dropdown then to PLAYER STATS. Then just filter by free agents. At least that has been working.
