No to be confused at all with former KC OF Pete LaCock, who incidentally was the son of "Hollywood Squares" host Peter Marshall. Yes, his full name was likely Peter LaCock. Imagine the crap he caught in gym class...

Omar Vizquel was scratched from the lineup at Single-A San Jose because of soreness in his surgically-repaired knee.

The Giants were hoping to get Vizquel back April 7, but that's not going to happen. Manager Bruce Bochy said the Giants will take their time with Vizquel, mainly because his replacement, Brian Bocock has been playing so well. Bocock has a .526 OBP in 19 plate appearances .

Since Vizquel isn't coming back Brian Bocock should continue to put up MAJOR stolen bases. He's stolen 47 bases in 610 minor league at bats!!!!!

In hearing the Vizquel news, my bid goes from $15 to $25-$35. Nice fill-in type player.
