does he get 40 sb's?

I don't think so b/c w/ Konerko at 1B, Swish goes to the OF w/ Dye. That leaves LF, which Quentin appears to have all his own.

Seems like the Sox like Alexi Ramirez alot too, so Owens will be battlin' for PT as a 4th OF!

Curious as to how others think this situation plays out and how many sb's Owens gets (assuming he's not traded). Me thinks Jerry will be pinchrunning alot this yr :D

[/QUOTE]I agree, could definitely be a platoon situation. Owens could be a frustrating player to own because his stolen base potential makes him too valuable to drop, but it might be hard to for him to find consistent at-bats.

I think the White Sox really like Owens, so I would lean towards him being the leadoff hitter most of the time but lose some at-bats for sure when he struggles.

I drafted him in the 27th round and I NEED his stolen bases.

dear dirt- he hit 30-35 once. his on base % is like .375. leadoff hitters are supposed to get on base. konerko thome dye- that is plenty of power. plus- if he bats 6th and homers are hit in front of him- no one is on base. if he comes up with thome and or konerko- he will have to hit a tripple to score them. he might get more rbi's batting 1st. ozzie is actually showing some signs of a brain.
