It struck me in the middle of the night that my baseball frustration is simply due to setting my sights too high. Rather than compare my hitting against other fantasy teams, I'll pick on someone my own size. Let's say my 14 active hitters vs Matt Treanor. Now that's a fair fight.

Week 6 Results to date:

Treanor 3AB, .667 BA, 1 Run, 1 HR, 3 RBI, O SB

My Team 122 AB, .180 BA, 7 Runs, 1 HR, 2 RBI, 0 SB

Treanor wins the head to head battle

I'm now going to pack my morning bowl of oatmeal into my nostrils and asphyxiate myself.

Nothing I do is THINley, but yes, this is how I try to cope with the countless O'fers and poundings and the fact that I'm not as good as guys like you. It works for the most part.

At least you're killing Treanor in ABs , right??

And if you can just find a way to get that 1 SB, you'll likely beat him in another category too!

I could have cared less who Matt Treanor was nor how he played...but due to this thread, I found my self getting up off my couch just now rooting for him to get tagged out at home plate!!!
