Who would you keep?

Post by Evil Empire » Mon Mar 07, 2005 9:40 am

In a 5x5 keeper $260 keeper league. I am keeping

Tejada

Blalock

Ramirez

V Wells

Abreu

Beltran

Patterson

J Drew

Santana

For a combined $80.

I have to choose between a $5 Konerko and a $12 Schilling and I have a week to do so. Any advice would be helpful.

Seems to me you can afford to cut the power, and need the pitching. Those are some unreal players to have for such a low price. Get ready to dominate (again probably)!

Spring is here and the draft is 2 weeks away. Lighten Up! I thought I would sneak by you by not entering the prices. I guess not! I recently made a trade since the last post. Rollins for Konerko, I have plenty of speed, but now I am second guessing who to keep. Schilling or Konerko. In the end I will make the decision based on my knowledge but it is nice to know what other people think.

P.S. Are we still having our makeup drink?

Guys, I'm really having a hard time figuring out my last keeper in real life:

My Wife

my fat

my coffee

my job

my dog

my house

my ingrown toenail

I'm kind of leaning towar the ingrown toenail because it is by far the cheapest to maintain. Doesn't cost me a thing, just alot of pain when I bang it into something.

Dude...the DOG...guys always keep the dog...didn't you cry at "Old Yeller" or what!
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Well, it's probably too late for you, but "Old Yeller" is one of only two movies it is ok for guys to get a bit "misty" about...the other is "Brian's Song"!

Well, I can't really argue with that too much, but I only think about 12 people actually saw that movie....though it is one of the sports greats!
