how much do guys playing part-time with a lack of hr's go for?
seriously, if i was strapped for sb, i could see a $50-$60 bid, however, due to my superior drafting skills  , i am not in need of sb. i ALREADY have the NL ROY rostered on my team, Mr McCutchen. If I need speed in the second half of the season, i expect him to take care of it. in addition, i believe mr bonifucco from florida is available in my league. lots of speed out there if you can tolerate "Judy's"!
I have the ultimate "judy", Nyger Morgan, who will find a way to actually get on base and swipe 40 bases, blocking the way for Mr. McCutchen until later in the season.
I could also see the Pirates slapping themselves upside the head in September saying, "Dang, we shoulda brought that kid up sooner!"
Not exactly relying upon Morgan (29th pick), but I don't count on the Pirates to do the "right thing". McCutchen will bank all those great stats in AAA.

if bonifucco can boot maybin out of the leadoff spot, i don't think there is much chance for success this year for mr maybin. next year is the year you want him

Manager Freddi Gonzalez has named Emilio Bonifacio the Marlins' leadoff hitter to start the season.
He makes for a great waiver addition. Catcher John Baker is expected to hit second against right-handers with Maybin in the eight-hole .

Bonaduce (Partridge Family) batting first, John Baker (CHIPS) batting second...
Where is Hanley getting all those extra rbi again?
That is one Uggla lineup.

Winning is not everything, but the will to win is.
