Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Each one of these last half dozen or so I felt like a Homer Simpson highlight reel....

Oswalt - Doh! Verlander - Doh! Vasquez - Doh! Hill - Doh!

One hundred and nine players taken – thirty-one Pitchers (28.4%) seems a little behind, but with an early Mock it makes sense to me. Five teams have only 1 pitcher after 7 rounds.

21 SP & 10 Closers.

Four Catchers, 10 first basemen, 8 Second, 10 short, 10 third, 33 OF and three DH.

God Loves You up

Stevieland on deck.

I have to say I am a bit surprised as well to see Maine go before Halladay. I had Maine this year and it was great (mostly) but there were about 2 months there were it wasn't fun.... I like him allot but it does seem a bit early for him.

doughboys- i gotta admit- i was thinking the same thing- but at pick 15 unless he gets hurt- i would have been fine. i like his chances of stealing 45 bases more than i do uptons of hitting .300
