According to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, Jason Kubel's two-year contract with the Twins is worth "about $7 million" with a $5 million team option for 2011.

The Denver Post reports that Ubaldo Jimenez's pending four-year contract with the Rockies includes team options for 2013 and 2014.



According to the newspaper, the total value of the deal could rise as high as $22.75 million if both options are exercised, but the guaranteed portion of the contract is around $10 million.

Next thing you know I am going to be doing shampoo commercials, Gekko is going to be recognized for his humility, and Captain Hook is going to finish in the top 200 in the main event... wow scary stuff.
