What Will Stock Market Be On Draft Day?

Greg, here were all the predictions. Could come down to the wire.

Rucrew2 has the lead right now, but I like my chances - if the recent improvement in confidence keeps rolling thru the end of the week I could be real close. If it overshoots RT or even Plymouth has a shot. Dabears could take it if we run out of steam, I think everyone else (especially the Fed conspiracy crowd) is done for. :D

JohnZ = 8315

Plymouth = 7831

RoundTrippers = 7777

KJ Duke = 7629

Rucrew2 = 7498

CURRENT PRICE = 7395.70

Dabears = 7135

No-you-won’t = 7008

Doughboys = 7005

Gekko = 6750

Scott Boras = 6,666.66

Sportsbettingman = 6420

Vander = 6012

Bama = 5850

GoBabyGo = 5400

Snord35 = 5375
Thanks KJ. Appropriately, either RT at 7777 or Dabears in a Bear Market should win this autographed Pete Rose baseball!! :D

If I remember, I'll grab one off my desk tomorrow and bring it with me to Las Vegas.

Being a novice, I'd like to place a wager with you KJ, that the close of THU March 19th 2009 will be lower than the close of WED March 18th 2009. (based on the trending and the Asian Market)

(DOW)

20 bucks to be paid in Vegas?

KJ, who won the Pete Rose autographed baseball? Was it Matthew Bauler, appropriately named Da Bears in this bear market? :D

If so, then I'm giving a consolation prize Pete Rose autographed baseball to Rick Thomas. His prediction that the market would be at 7777 appropriately just before Draft Day was only missed by the next day of the market. The market ended at 7776 on Monday, while many of us NFBCers were reveling in the sportsbook. :D That deserves a prize for sure. RT, I'll bring it with me to the NFL Draft party if you join us!!! :D

Hey, I was only off by about 4-5 trading hours as it hit 7629 monday morning! :D

[/QUOTE]Awesome. Matt and Rick, I have an autographed Pete Rose baseball for each of you at my desk. Great job and it looks like the market is up again today. I think the NFBC's success in the last week has pushed the market forward. :D The whole country is seeing our success as a good sign for the economy. :D

I don’t think all the guesses that were made are listed above. The closest I saw was DOUGHBOYS at 9500.

It must be disappointing for some to see the market not fail in order to gain an ideological “win”. And yet; while blame and criticism are easily laid at the feet of one for all that has gone wrong, credit for positives are always assigned to another or written off as having been accomplished in spite of one’s efforts.
