Hafner 21 I think you should spend less time on these boards between now and Saturday b/c that team will not cut it in the main event. Speed and saves issues, starting pitching has good depth, but if one of those top 3 go down for a significant amount of time you are cooked, 4 to 6 pts in batting avg.
The good news is plenty of time to adjust to some of the things you have discussed yourself and others feedback before Saturday.

One positive thing I missed was good use of picks 20-30.

i have the batting average much higher than chest. think you have nice sleepers in middle infield. can move young to 3rd if felipe starts playing well. lots of k's. i have you with 130 steals with a big steals guy on your bench and one that has swiped 20+ in the past. i like the team. power wise it is all up the quentin if he can hit 35- 40 you should be good. if 20-25 you could be about 10th. you are in the middle. could go either way. that is how most teams look after a tough draft. don't count fontenot out- he gets 500 ab's he hits 20-25 homers. he is dustin this year homer wise

Thx for taking a look. I had to have Font...he was my biggest sleeper...though he could bomb. I also love Q. PEople forget that he was the best player in the AL for 4 1/2 months last year and has pedigree to back it. I would probably have forgone M Young at 8 and gone closer there, then looked for a ss at 9, but the ss run had started and was almost at the end. That said, Id be better off with Chr Guzman in 20th along with a Jenks, then Young and no second closer.

I really like this team.YOUR TOP 4 IS right on and i like the top 6 pitchers you selected.Felipe Lopez in the 20th round is a joke,i like him.Hafner and Pie are nice late round gambles.Werth in the 6th round might be a couple rounds too high but still like him.
Would have liked another closer but maybe Nunez and Rodney can get some.I like a lot of these players but then again just my opinion.

I appreciate your taking a look. I was in between Quentin and Grandy at 3 because I love them both. When he fell to me 18 picks, it was one of those fantasy seconds where the world looks right, until you get Leo nunez as your closer. Good luck on Sat

One of the better offenses I think I've seen posted.
Although, I'm not a fan of your catcher combo. And I think you've taken on quite a bit of risk with your squad as a whole - not that risk isn't a good thing, it's just a thing to be aware of.
SB's seem to be your weakest cat, but the others should be close to the targets. (maybe a hair low on RBI's, but that's what Hafner is for, right?
Not a fan of your entire staff. I think you did well with a few of your pitchers, but your team could be in for an ERA and WHIP meltdown if things don't pan out. Last year your staff's ERA was pretty good at 3.8, but if you're going to consider that you must also consider that they only had 979 K's, 71 W's, and a 1.33 WHIP. You should post about 200 more K's and 20 more W's, but I'm skeptical about your ERA and WHIP as I see them both going backwards. With proper in-season management though I could see your squad doing fairly well and possibly in the top third of your league.

Funny on catchers, I think they are solidly middle of the road. Salty was a late round guy who I targeted as having the potential to become a top catching fantasy guy. Great lineup, great stadium, and again, great pedigree. Johjima is one year away from being a 9th round pick and is 32 years old.
AS for Sp, Im not going to lie, I wanted Liriano or Haren with 5.6. That said the whole staff including Davies and Anibel, have nice potential for upside. All guys have realistic chance of 185 ks. All play in NL (except Davies) At least half play for winners. Except Lilly, all are young and still have upside, which I think is crucial for fantasy.
Lastly, in season management is at least 1/2 of the means to winning. The second is having a couple of late picks hit. When I walked away from my draft last year, I felt like my team was awful and then 3 of my top 11 went down with injuries (Gallardo, McGowan, Kazmir) But I hit on some mid and late rd picks and had some good in-season maneuvering and ended up on top.
Lets face it in a 15 team league, there are going to be plenty of weaknesses on every team going in to season. Find me the perfect drafted team. Do I win? Probably not. But am I out of it ...no way.
