Tim Lincecum admitted Saturday that he has felt a bit out of rhythm this spring.

Scottsdale, Ariz. -- Tim Lincecum made a confession Saturday that might cause the teensiest bit of concern with one practice start left. After throwing 92 pitches over five innings in a Triple-A Game, Lincecum said his rhythm has been off this spring, resulting in a lack of command.

"I can't emphasize the rhythm thing enough," Lincecum said. "I can't find a consistent track of finding my rhythm. It's frustrating, but I feel like I have more time before the season starts."

Tim is a victim of the "I want my face on TV commercials" effect.

See Ladanian Tomlinson, The Madden Curse, Stephen Jackson, Shawn Merriman, etc.

Other recent baseball players to suddenly make the jump to nation wide commercials, followed by cursed seasons = Jimmy Rollins (last year with Ryan Howard), Dustn Pedroia (this year), Tim Lincecum (this year).
