What is the current rule for delayed games that are tied in extra innings if the game cannot continue? Do they just finish it the next day?

Not necessarily. It could be finished months from now. Depending on schedules.

Do the stats so far count this week?

If I remember right, STATS counts all the existing stats on this weeks tally. New stats that are accumulated during the the completion of the game will be tallied then.

I'm going to need that Christian Guzman homerun. Who knows when another is coming!

From the Astros website:
The Nationals had a runner on first and Josh Willingham was at the plate. That's where the game will pick up when the two teams resume the game on July 9 at Minute Maid Park in Houston.
Not sure if the stats count this week or not.
But, interesting question, as I have Guzman too.
If you release him before July 9th, do you still get his stats?
Greg?

Greg? Here's an even better one:
LaTroy Hawkins allowed a walk before the game was suspended. When the game resumes in 2 months, if the runner on 1st base scores, LaTroy Hawkins will be charged with the run (let's assume no errors). How will the Earned Run be treated, assuming Hawkins is no longer on your team?

But congrats on finding the loophole!

I like this scenario.
Ryan Zimmerman has a 22 game hitting streak and doesen't get a hit (he did) and then goes on to miraculously break Joe D's streak, only if he gets a hit during the suspended game. The press and pressure would be enormous.
