Just saw that our own Brian Oakchunas is one of the 10 finalists to land a permanent spot at Baseball Prospectus. Very cool!

Good luck, and keep up the great work!

Nate Silver did a fantatic job with 538.com, in which he was able to show district-by-district how Obama was going to become the next President -- months ahead of the general media. With the success of this project, I believe he has moved on from BP and is now merely a contributor / consultant.

Perhaps Brian -- assuming he gets the gig -- will replace PECOTA with his own system: BJOAKA

Perhaps Brian -- assuming he gets the gig -- will replace PECOTA with his own system: BJOAKA Euclid! No, they still have it but it will be run more by the technicians rather than by Nate in his basement.

Top 5! Way to go, Brian!

I'd tell you to plagiarize our Boards, but there's nothing worth using :D

Good Luck Brian!

I'd vote if I could.

Seems like many biased reviews. (IMO)
