KC: What are They Thinking

Jason Kendall for two years makes me wonder if KC's GM is smoking from the same hookah as Omar Minaya (Tim Redding 2.5 mill, Castilla 4 years 24 mill, ALex COra 2 mill)
What does this perennially mediocre team need with a catcher who gives little offensively or defnesively and is well past his prime? This, to my mind, goes head to head with Houston, letting Valverde and Hawkins walk and laying out huge money for medocre and well travelled Lyon and Lindstrom?
In any evnt, Im happy to see that there are worse GM's then Minaya.
While we are on that topic, how about 3 years for Randy Wolf at 10 mill per. Anyone want to lay odds and Brewers getting full value on that contract? And for a low=middle market team to make a mistake, this signing could be crippling.
