MLB win totals out today...

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Mon Mar 01, 2010 9:11 am

It seems like the Twins at only 82 wins with a new stadium and a lot of energy after last year's divisional title seems low. I like that one. And Seattle also seems like they have a lot of good going now with the Lee and Figgins acquisitions and a solid defense to go with better pitching. 83 wins seems low there, too. I like those two.

I'm surprised at Seattle being listed at 83 wins. It seems like everyone is picking the Mariners to win the AL West, yet I can't get past the fact that after Felix Hernandez and Cliff Lee, the M's rotation is bleak. I expected to see the Mariners listed as 87-88 wins and therefore the under was an easy play. 83 wins makes Seattle a no-bet for me. I would also say that the Yankees at 94.5 seems like an easy win betting the over.

If I had to take one out of all and bet my business and all assets on. No brainer in Twins at 82. I ssee Twins at 90 winning division early. Just an opinion.

Please, somebody find me a bank that will let me mortgage my house to double it's value....then I'll put that cash on the Pirates and Royals both UNDER for the season.

I also like the Mariners OVER.
