I can't believe this guy isn't playing over Mathis???  Who else is a frustrated Napoli owner?

[/QUOTE]Yeah I'm surprised they haven't DH'd him also KJ. My team is also doing fine offensively without him. I figure once Mathis gets back to hitting around .200 as always, Napoli will be back behind the plate more....at least I hope so.

ya, interesting development. career .200 hitters don't last long. matsui will likely get dl'd soon enough.

Looks like Napoli will finally get some playing time.

"According to the Orange County Register, the Angels have placed Jeff Mathis on the 15-day disabled list due to a fractured right wrist"

6-8 weeks for Mathis to return.

Napoli owners can exhale finally.

As an Angel fan, it was extremely nice to see Mathis get off to that great start. To be quite honest, Mathis does not have the makings of a low .200 hitter. He's got a great swing, but he just doesn't have the greatest pitch selection. I feel he's finally settled down and figured it out. He's a career .277 hitter in the minors, so the guy can hit. He's finally getting his chance.

Now Brandon Wood is a different story. Dude has a ton of power, but he's got a horrible swing along with poor pitch selection. That's a recipe for disaster. Look for Maicer to take over at some point soon!

In regards to Napoli, I hope he starts hitting bombs, for the Angels sake! ;)
