Secret Info for AL auctin league

"The great fantasy owners can give away information and still beat the opponent down"

That's one of the funniest damn things I've ever heard. I'll take you up on your offer if I'm in your league in Vegas, though - plan on emailing me your final cheat sheet a couple days before the draft, right?

I assume that's gotta be sarcasm, although it's so hard to figure out with the written word and not knowing you at all. It's not a question of paranoia - it's a question of intelligence. I'm not sure if your goal is to win? Mine is?

I don't recall any history lessons where an opposing army shared intelligence with their enemies. We're no where near as brutal as all that, but we are clearly all on opposing sides in this event. Believe it or not, there WILL be people at the drafts who haven't put in enough time. If you want to catch them all up so they're more informed knock yourself out - but don't criticize those of us who choose not to... in my opinion, you're a fool to give ANYONE information.

Incidentally, what makes a 'great fantasy owner'?

1. You could be right there with Harden, but I think it's Rhodes' job to lose. Pretty small sample size to be focused on his saves converted percentage... I'd be more concerned about his habit of putting people on base. Then again, since Harden has no save converted percentage at all... ??

2. It's not his winter ball numbers that convince me, it's the depth charts like this one at Yahoo:

3. Fair enough

4. He's yours - good luck.

5. I could see that

6. Well, between that and no support in the lineup, his age and a pretty mediocre '03... agreed.

7. Uh... Steve Avery?

Thanks - looking forward to basking in everyone's brilliance in LV ;)

Some people are brave when ther are not registered so we can't keep them to their word. I bet the guy isn't even going to the draft and is justing wanting to sound like a big shot like most anonymous posters in the world.

It isn't even worth debating.

onr more thing...about Rhodes..as a Mariner fan I am hoping that Rhodes's best years are behind him....

Having watched Bid Dianonds play I would venture a guess that he got used to striking out the sides with speed and acuracy with his pitches..but in the last two years he didn't learn quick enough to use the defence behind him...look at him in this light during the spring...see how many batters he'll get to hit out...again as a Mariner fan...I am hoping that he will still try to overpower hitters..
