OK...here is a test.

Four starting pitchers with a combined 53 starts year to date. Of those 53, the pitchers gave up a three earned runs or less in 43 of those starts. The combined stats for those 43 starts are 268 2/3 IP (or an average 6.25 IP per start), 76 ER, 247 H (which includes 20 HR), 75 BB, and 204 K's. That all breaks down to a combined 2.546 ERA, a WHIP of 1.198, three strikeouts for every four innings pitched, less than a HR allowed every other game, and a 2.72:1 K to BB ratio.

In those 43 starts, how many wins would you expect?

Answer to follow if anyone chimes in!
