OK, so my team has more holes in it than a Karl Rove alibi, but this pitching in bad luck is getting old. Last night Millwood goes 8.0 IP, with 6 H, 0 BB, 1 ER, 9 k's and ends up LOSING!

In four of his starts this year (including last night), he has 27.0 IP, an ERA of 1.333, a WHIP of 1.00, and a K/BB ratios of 3.6. How many wins in those four starts...NONE...3 L's and a ND!

I am snake-bit...bring me my crying towel!

I am snake-bit...bring me my crying towel! Dude, you drafted a Cleveland pitcher and are upset he isn't getting wins?

Really? Are you sure!?

Doooh!

I KNEW I was missing something...hey, they are only 5 games under .500 and you WOULD think they could score TWO runs a game....

The Cleveland Curse continues....Millwood pitches into the 7th and without his best stuff still only gives up 2 earned runs.

:( He, of course, takes the loss....

Mr. King, You are missing some golden oppurtunities. Millwood went off at -200. A- he is on your team. B- he is a big favorite. C-Their is cash to be made. I might need to know your whole piching staff. Thanks

Hey, CC! Not surprised to see you hanging around the top again given how you punished LV League 7 last year!

The pitching staff I drafted (seems sooooo long ago) was by name and round:

O. Dotel 3rd (strike one)

K. Escobar 9th (strike two)

K. Millwood 11th

E. Guardado 12th

A. Eaton 14th

J. Pineiro 16th (had him last year, too. You would think that I would learn!)

D. Lowe 18th (another bad luck pitcher early on)

C. Capuano 20th

D. Bush 21st

J. Johnson 23rd (dropped him, big mistake)

S. Elarton 30th

Currently my pitching staff is Capuano, Lowe, Millwood, Pineiro, Guardado from the draft. Eaton is on the DL as is J. Wright whom I picked up on waivers. I have filled the roster out to replace Dotel and Escobar with Brian Moehler and Dan Wheeler (come on trading deadline!). I also have in there right now Ryan Madson and Jose Valverde. A real patched up group.
