Scared and Nervous

Post by Gordon Gekko » Sun Feb 12, 2006 4:17 am

Everyone gets scared and nervous sometimes. That's true no matter how big you are or how brave you can be. You can sense when it’s happening…your heart rate increases. Your lungs take in air faster. The pupils in your eyes get larger. You feel tightness in your chest, a bellyache, dizziness, or a sense that something horrible is going to happen.

How will this work in the NFBC?

++Your mouth goes dry when your facilitator says “you’re on the clock”

++Your palms sweat when it's your turn to announce your pick, but you don’t know how to pronounce the player’s last name

++You get butterflies in your stomach when you see other competitors entering the draft room

++You have diarrhea when you realize you should have prepared better for draft day

Enjoy!

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

[/QUOTE]Not to spill the beans, but he took the name from the film Wall Street. Also, it's not hard to pronounce.
