Thinking about drafting G.Sizemore, J.Cantu and/or F.Hernandez?



Here's a tip: Draft them early. They will be STUDS this year, and going by last year's NFBC, they won't last long on draft day. Get them early or they'll be gone.

CANTU and HERNANDEZ will go way to high for me.CANTU , i want to see it again , didnt score many runs , and doesnt steal.HERNANDEZ i will want to see a full year, especially if he's a 4th or 5th round pick.NOW SIZEMORE i have to agree with you, he's probably a 2nd or 3rd round pick who will be a monster. He looks like a young paul newman.

Hard to imagine, however, that my team sucked SOOOOO bad last year and I picked up Sizemore in the 27th round....

cantu could go 30/125

hernandez could have a season as good as dwight gooden in 1985.

Weeks and Howard 4th to 6th rd picks.

Haren 9th to 11th

IF i could land one of these guys , i would be happy.

No injury concerns for SD's Chris Young. He went 3-0 with a 1.98 era and a .963 whip in his last 7 starts. The move to spacious Petco can only help. I think we should target him in the 9th.

CHRIS YOUNG went in the 16th rd in the draft masters draft , pick 227. IN the experts league draft with guys like greg and tom, which went 276 picks , he wasnt even drafted.You should be able to get him 13th to 18th rd.

in any event, i'll recommend taking him in the 7th, not 9th.

Funny that everyone is willing to play along with Gekko's attempt to turn sleepers into, er, not sleepers. Which he does every year, never successfully. But it's exciting, kind of gives me the feeling that baseball has almost arrived.

I need to know how early to take Loretta. With the move to Boston, he's a lock to reproduce his '04 season, if not improve upon it. He's my super-sleeper. I need to know how early you recommend taking him.
