To Trade or Not to Trade

12 team 5/5 mixed keeper league. We protect 4-7 players per year. I have eight protectables, but can only protect 7:

D Ortiz

D Wright

G Sheffield

G Sizemore

J Rollins

B Bonds

The "Unit"

F Hernandez

An owner has offered me J Peavy for F Hernandez and B Bonds. Do I pull the trigger or hold on to current squad as hedge against potential protectable getting injured.

Appreciate the response - should have pointed out this is yr 2 of 3 yr protectable period. Redraft in 2008.
